Custom pieces

My boss has a new-found fascination with my wire work.  Every day that I'm at work he brings me a freshly finished cab (cabochon) and says, "Wire wrap this!!! It would look so good wrapped!"  So, I have! Check out just a couple of pieces that I've finished...

Above is Petrified Dinosaur bone with opal, wrapped in copper (Sold for $45)
Variscite wrapped in copper ($100)

I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving so I can get some of my projects done :)

HOPE Fest re-cap

Sorry guys, I never posted about how awesome the HOPE Festival went for me.  I was initially disappointed, as it didn't seem like I sold that much, but I made a pretty chunk of change. :)  Yay!

Here are a couple pictures of my table:

And a full length view of my table

As you can tell, I wasn't selling just my stuff. I had stuff from another lady.

One really super awesome pendant that I barely had time to take a picture of is this one here:
Kambaba Jasper, wrapped in silver (sold for $40)
(Kambaba Jasper is also known as Crocodile Jasper
and was originally found in Madagascar)

I was honestly just putting the finishing touches on this pendant when a co-worker was looking at my table. She didn't seem impressed by any of my other pendants, so I showed her this one. Her eyes got wide, and she said she wanted it. So, I told her to come back in 10 minutes (to give me time to finish it) and that she could have it for $40. WHOOO!  I was so stoked!   I have access to these stones, so I could make another, but by request only (honestly, it was kind of a pain in the ass to make, and I had help from my boyfriend to make the frame around the stone).

I was also considering having a booth at our local Novemberfest, but when I contacted the organizers about it, there weren't any booths available. I was told to contact them in April of next year! Wow, I didn't realize the tables went so fast for it. Oh well, so much for that...
